Lori J. Sell Vergara passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 10, 2004, in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a result of a massive blood clot. Lori was born on August 28, 1966 to Rolen and Betty Lee Sell.
Lori grew up in rural Arcadia, Nebraska on a farm and graduated from Arcadia High School in 1984 as valedictorian of her senior class. She was very active in all school activities. She went on to receive her degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and began her career in the telemarketing world while in college. She worked in management positions in Omaha NE, Indianapolis IN, Dallas TX, and then back in Omaha before moving to Salt Lake City to help form the United States branch of Teleperformance. She served as an Executive Vice President of that company. Her travels in the business took her all over the United States as well as Europe. Lori truly loved her work and the people who she worked with.
On May 29, 2004 Lori was united in marriage to Alex Vergara in Arcadia, NE. They returned to their work in Salt Lake City and were planning a delayed honeymoon to Alex's home country of Chile at the time of her passing.
Lori leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Alex Vergara, of Salt Lake City, his mother Maria Vergara; her parents, Rolen and Betty Sell of Arcadia NE; two sisters Becki (Lanny) Cusimano, IA, Deb (Steve) Dodson of Arcadia, NE; brother Dale Sell of Arcadia, NE; grandfather, Jo Lee of Rose Lane Home in Loup City, NE; niece, Allyssa and nephew Trevin Cusimano of Bettendorf, IA, niece, Madison Dodson of Arcadia, NE; many close friends and other relatives.
